Helford River Boats on the beach at Helford Passage - for boat hire, paddle board hire, moorings, tide times and ferry timetable.
Take the passenger ferry to the other side of the river (10 minutes) and visit the picturesque Helford village and its waterside pub, The Shipwright Arms.
Or continue your coastal walk round the headland to Frenchman's Creek.
Trebah gardens, - my favourite - just a short walk from Seashells Cottage. enjoy the summer performances .
Walk down to the famous beach where soldiers left for the Normandy landings in World War II
Trebah's sheltered and secluded beach at the bottom of the garden, Polgwidden Cove, provides the perfect place to while away an hour or two.
Here you can find our boathouse beach cafe, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and delicious Roskilly's ice cream, made on the other side of the river. (March-October, weather permitting)
